Rice Produce Cooling Facility

OSR Enterprises has been operating a very successful agricultural business in the Santa Maria Valley for generations.

SEPPS was engaged to obtain approval for a state-of-the-art 200,000 square-foot produce cooling and processing facility which will support thousands of acres of agriculture in the Santa Maria Valley.

The project was complex from a permitting standpoint requiring a Development Plan, Rezone, General Plan Amendment and Conditional Use Permit and is situated on lands under a Williamson Act contract. Approval was obtained in the summer of 2008; the project was constructed the following year and is now fully operational.
